Depending on your brother's ties it would be better if you had a more established especially if he isn't married and still lives at home. Would possibly consider applying when his business is at least 6 months old. At the moment they won't be able to do biometrics in India so not a huge rush.

My father is the primary applicant and my mother is the secondary applicant for the visitor visa. Is there a rule where my father has to travel with my mother or the secondary applicant can travel without the primary applicant also?

Thank you. I am bit confused about when should he app for written authorization approval. Does he need the written authorization to travel before applying for visitor visa or during processing or after getting the visa before coming to canada ?

You can wait for visa approval & then apply for written authorization as authorization is only good for 6 months

My father is a businessman and mother is a housewife.
My father will be the principal applicant and mother will be dependant. what are the forms do i have to fill up for my mother?
Since she is a housewife, what are the documents i can show for her ?

They apply as a couple and your mom doesn’t need to show her own funds. Joint funds are fine.

Usually it is understood that a couple shares their finances so show whatever funds they have separately and jointly. There is no special form.
