Visitor visa for parents

Hello everyone,

My parents visa is getting expired in Dec 2020 now we have renewed their passport and I want to bring my parents to canada in June but due to this pandemic and flights unavailability its not possible. So can I apply for there visa again right now because December or I need to wait till it expires.

Agree with above no need to wait but do not expect the process to complete very quickly given COVID impact.
