Visitor visa for parents - Name mismatch on financial documents-remedy?

Hi all members,
Can you please advise on common situation of parents name not matching in certain documentations. My Dad's name is correct in all passport in my family but all financial- bank statement and property still has old name - Mahendrakumar (Correct is Mahendrabhai). Do I need any affidavit? Also in TRV form asks if any other name used previously - should I use older name in the form?

use the name which is mentioned in passport and yes you do need an affidavit mentioning that both the names belong to same person

your father's name is to be mentioned right??? then your father have to get it prepared and and get it notarized
