Hi Guys, did anybody recently apply for their parents' visitor visa through the IRCC portal? Under the activities tab, they ask for work history, but there is no option for self-employed. Did anybody else face this issue? I need to know which option to select. Thanks in advance.

Applied VV - 2nd Jan 2022. Biometrics already existed. Eligibility review also not started yet.

However, in my mother's application biometric shows as completed but for my father's application, it still shows that IRCC has not received the biometrics even though both applications have the biometric numbers generated.

Tried e-mailing and contact # provided but there's been no response to the e-mail and the contact number is wrong. I've applied for my parents together as a group. Also emailed high commission and received a non committal standard response after 20 some days

Same here. They just highlighted a section which says due to high volume n all...it will take time.
