If you apply online, you can create one GCkey account. The application will be combined with one of the parent as the primary applicant. Both parents need to fill up the TRV form. You can also represent your in-laws.

Also which documents I need to submit
- bank statements for 6months
- property document
- my wife’s bank statement, work permit, invite letter, company offer letter, visa stamping page in passport
- self covering letter with brother’s Aadhar card and passport, pension documents
If you apply online, hover the mouse on the (?) icon to see the documents that can be attached per category.

She is an adult I am sure she can survive on her own since she’s been there for months on her own already. The TRV is solely dependent on her parents savings, ties to their home country and previous travel history. Their savings isn’t very high because they are expected to pay for their travel expenses. They would not be left with a lot of savings if they paid for flight expenses in Canada, travel health insurance, etc. Do they have any other ties but their son who is studying? Have they travelled to Australia, the US, UK, etc.? Don’t think their chances of getting a TRV are very good but you should certainly try.
