IRCC can always ask for a medical. Did anything concerning show up in your parents’s medical last time? There may also be concerns that your parents intend to visit for a longer period of time given previous supervisa application.

Eligibility: Complicated or Completed?
Impossible to say. Depends on how many applications need to be processed before your parents’ and how complex their file is. For example if someone has been in the army or a senior government official backgrounds can take longer. In general applications are taking longer from India for a variety of reasons. In general do not book flights until you have a stamped visa in your passport.

Last week My Father got medical but my Mother is still waiting for her medical letter. They had few medical issue in their last super visa time and they got another medical exam on arrival in Canada.
I invited them in Sept 2024 but still their application is in process ................
Father: Applied July 2024
Biometric - Completed,
Eligibility - Completed
Medical - In Progress - Nov 28 ..
Background Vivification - In Progress
Mother: Applied July 2024
Biometric - Completed,
Eligibility - Completed
Medical - Not Started
Background Vivification - In Progress
i don't know, they will get visit visa after their medical or not. Invitation date has been passed.

Does this mean that Ircc started with the background check after Oct 24, 2024 as Father's biometrics got updated on this day??
