visitor visa for my mother

hi,
on December 2022 I started to apply for my mom (visitor visa )but because the document wasn't ready my file is closed after 60 days , now when I open new file in 25 March I saw that the way to fill the information not like before to send form to them , now just to fill online , it's ok ? is it updated? before it was section C to fill my mother siblings but now when filling online I didn't see that part is it ok ?, also I found to send new document that is a national identity document with photo on it, do I need to translate it to English or French (original in Arabic language ) and must be attested?
when I want to put date of her coming do I need to go and see the processing time from website before putting any date ?my mother in Syria now (after earthquake on 6 March in Syria there is any acceleration?) can I put less than processing time that is shown in website ?

You can log visa file any time . But it will be best to log visa file accordingly processing time for good impression. Some times in these cases i saw visa getting rejected. Your mothers documents which are in arabic must be translated in English. All the supporting documents should be in english with attestation.
Make good presentation and justification.
You will get visa in your hand

still I have a little concern, in 2022 when I download the forms to fill them out and upload them , they ask for more information a bout my mother siblings , but now in March 2023 when I filling information electronically without form there is no my mother sibling information required
also they don't ask for my mother digital photo

See you have to answer what the recent forms are asking. No need to prove more than they asked. First of all make a good cover letter. List all the supporting documents with it.
No need to worry.
Supporting documents are financial, relationship, home ties, family ties etc..

Would also add proof that she has been living in the earthquake affected area if Syria in the list of documentation.

I opened the IRCC account under my mother name . I think it's not correct and I have to open another account under my name (I am her representative ) , right ?

hi,

please help me I am a little confused
I want to apply for my mother to visit Canada from Syria , when I opened an IRCC account and go step after step I had a list of documents required.
In another way when I went through the link of eligibility to visit Canada I answered on behalf of my mother I get another list of documents required to upload but in both ways the lists are not similar
in first way I have to upload just a form IMM5476 (use of representative ) with other documents
in second way I have to upload the forms (IMM5257,IMM5476,IMM5645) with other documents
IMM5645 form for family information include section B the children ,section C the sibling
if I chose first way to fill forms online electronically for family information they just ask for children without siblings(the information they wanted by filling online is less than upload form IMM5645(family information )

I don't know to chose which way to send application in second way the ask for digital photo but in first way they don't ask for digital photo

Is the address on her National identity card her current address?

I would mention that she is living in the earthquake area and include a copy of proof of address. Things like current bills for utilities for example. If her home was destroyed maybe a copy can be obtained online.

thank you canuck78. the address on her national identity card is just one word is the name of area, and she doesn't have the proof like bills , all bills under the name of landlord , she is renting
