Visitor visa for mother in law

I have applied visitor visa on 12 December 2022 for my mother in law as i am pregnant.
Our consultant mentioned wrong Date of birth for my mother.they have raised a web form now.
We haven't received biometric request no other update.
If anyone has experienced this before please guide us what to do....
Any suggestion/ comments are highly appreciated.

Where are you applying from because it hasn’t even been 8 weeks? Nothing much to do.

This is the normal process. Raising a webform to correct the DOB was the right thing to do.

Applying from inside canada online application.
On portal they are mentioning the processing time is 23 days for online application within canada.
Correct me if i am wrong.

Webform raised on January 18th to expedite the biometric....but no response for that aswell.
Any suggestions will be a great help....

So you need a TRV to travel outside Canada as you are on a work or study permit? If it is not for you and for a parent, it is processed from where they live. Just because you applied on their behalf doesn’t mean it is processed within Canada. Parent is not in Canada. Look at processing times where your parent lives.

We received biometric request on 9th February after raising webform and biometrics given on 14th February in india at VFS.
if we calculate total time, its approx 10 weeks now. Or should i count after biometrics.
Any encounter with scenario like this.?Thanks

I read in forums that visitor visa got rejected in cases where pregnancy is being stated as reason for visit. can you please let me know what is the reason you had stated

Yes it got rejected because the reason mentioned was pregnancy.
