My sister can show 15k as a sponsorship for herself and my mother through one account. We do not have any properties to show. Will this affect our situation? Both of us also don't have any travel history.

What do you guys suggest? Should we wait and apply individually later using some other purpose of visit or graduation ceremony is the only strong purpose to visit? Please suggest. Thank you.
15K CAD is good. Show it in each application if it is a joint account. You can also provide their salary slips, ITRs, house loan details if any, FDs that mum or sister have however again separately for respective applications. This is in addition to all documents pertaining to sister and mum's job - employment proof, letter signed from HR or HRMS screenshot of leave approval for travel. Also create a nice statement of purpose letter that describes in brief the purpose of their visit and why they will return to India after the stay.

Apply now, you never know, approval may come through quickly.

Hi, it is not a joint account. I can probably write a letter saying that I will be sponsoring the trip for both of us. Would that work? Apart from this, we can only show salary slips, ITR, and PF only, nothing else. Additionally, employment proof and a letter from HR can be given. But that's it. Will these work?

Also, my study permit/visa has expired and I have currently applied for a work permit. So I can just show the application number that I have as proof of my status here in Canada. Will this affect their application? Should they wait and apply later? Do we have other strong reasons left later to come to Canada or graduation is the only one? Thanks.

There is no sponsorship of visa. You can only send a invitation. Also since you mentioned your study permit has expired it is a bit complex. I would request @Naturgrl to advice on this part. IRCC processes all application as per their set norms ; they dont give special weightage or preference to graduation/child birth etc. You can mention that in the SOP letter, whether they will consider or not is their call.

If your work situation in Canada is more set after few months, you will be in a stronger position to invite your mum. Sister you can invite but she has to prove her finances etc independently.

Both your mother and your sister have to apply separately. You can show funds but that is always secondary to the visitor applying. it is impossible to say what there chances of approval are. Both have weaknesses in their application just different ones. Al you can do is submit all the information you have and hope for the best.

My brother is studying in Canada and his studies will be completed in Aug 2024, I and my father both are planning (My mother is no more, she expired in 2014) to visit Canada at this convocation ceremony, which is supposed to happen in April or May 2025. I am single. I have been working in a partnership firm since 2019 as an accountant at a salary of Rs.35000/- per month. How many chances to get a visa? How much funds I should show in my bank account? what is your suggestion? what should I do to get a visa successfully?

So if father doesn’t have a visa then you apply separately. Suggest a 2-3 week visit showing cash in the bank that will not only support a visit but not use all your savings. So figure out how much you will spend including airfare and then double or triple it. $10kCdn is a good starting point. Then you need to show absolute ties to return (job letter with approved leave, investments, business, home etc.). Travel history to the UK, US, NZ and AUS strengthens application.
