Hi everyone,

This forum has been very helpful to me so far and I would need one more advice from you people. I will be getting married in January 2022 and want to bring over my spouse here as soon as possible. I have thought of three options so far but I am confused which one to go for and which one will have more chances of approval.

1) Before Marriage- Apply for my Fiancé's visitor visa before we get married and after border reopens and then she travel with me after marriage and I apply for inland PR sponsorship.

or

2)After Marriage- Apply for outland PR sponsorship after our marriage along with her visitor visa.

or

3) After Marriage- Apply for visitor visa first after marriage and then apply for Inland PR sponsorship.

Any insights or advice towards the above options are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

First option is the best if she can get approved.

Thank you for replying. Do you think there are better chances to get her approved on visitor visa before our marriage? She currently has a job in India and we can submit all those documents. Are those documents enough to satisfy the immigration officer?

If IRCC thinks her job has little prospect or she lacks her ties to India, the visa application can be refused.

One disadvantage of inland sponsorship is that if she left Canada during the process, the immigration application could be refused.

But If I apply for her open work permit along with the inland application then I don't think she will have to leave the country. But you are right about the first point. Might need to show some stronger ties. Thank you for your advice.
