Hi I wanted to invite my brother to Canada on a visitor visa and I am really confused which application I have to apply and what the process looks like?
should i send him a letter of invitation or just apply for the authorization and statutory form (IMM006e) alongside he will apply for TRV ? is a letter of invitation beneficial?
Thank you for taking the time to reply.

He applies for a TRV and he needs to show he can afford a visit. A letter of invitation can be attached and can be beneficial to show that his visit is essential. He must apply for written authorization to travel. He can apply at the same time as his TRV.

thank you for the prompt reply. Who fills out the IMM006e form? does he fill it out and send it to me to sign it or is it the other way around?

You fill it out as citizen and then he signs it too. Then you have have it notarized. Then you send it in. Many steps.

@Naturgrl i would love your feedback on the steps I am going to take:
1- i am going to send a letter of invitation for my father and brother .it will be two separate application.
2-i will fill out IMM006e form and tell my brother to start his TRV application along side for my father ,i will purchase medical insurance and will send proof of fund to him-both will do the medical examination now since its a requirement.
will this be a good start? Please let me know at your earlies t convince.
Thank you

Your brother is 25, so wouldn't he has his own proof of fund? This would be more important than from your side.

Your brother needs to show that he has his own ties to his home country and it would be better if he could show his own funds. In general young adults often struggle to get approved because they usually don’t have their own ties or funds but you should certainly try. Given covid this isn’t really the time for family visits especially for short periods of times. Depending where you are from biometrics may not be available in your country.
