Visitor Visa for boyfriend

I am working in Canada on TRV. I want my boy friend to visit me for 2 weeks.
He is working in INDIA. What would be the best way to get visitor visa for him?
Which all documents are required for this.
Shall I send a letter of invitation stating that I will cover all his expenses in CANADA?

Please help!

Dear Honey

Confirm he has visited any other country or he is first time visitor.

Though your Invitation should be covering his expenses, yet he has to show his own financial status very strong.

He has to get NOC/Leave letter from his company for that duration.
His ITRs/Property Papers/Bank Balance keep a lot value.
You must give maximum evidence of your relationship

Rest if he has travelled to any other country, then approval chances are high.

What kind of proofs i can give to prove the relationship?
And how much funds need to be shown in his account. I understand we need to show maximum.. But just want to confirm what is the minimum requirement.

Relationship Proof can be: -

1. Your Telephonic conversation bills
2. E mail Id Conversation
3. Photos of Togatherness - Different different occasions
4. Any Joint saving Account etc...
Funds for 02 week stay: -

1. Minimum 7 to 8000 USD, preferably old savings
2. Property papers
3. Insurance Policies/ Shares/Bonds etc...

I am no expert, but I wonder about the benefit of showing the strength of the relationship with all the documentation. Yes, I can see it if one was trying to prove a common-law marriage, but this is almost going in the direction of showing how STRONG your TIES are TO CANADA. Don't forget the invitor should show her financial and legal status as well. VO definitely look at past history of travel and return to home country and TIES to HOME have to be the most important to prove.
I always suggest people read as many posts as they can about REFUSALS so they can get a good idea of the pitfalls. Make your first application the best one you can as it doesn't get any easier to convince them once one VO has denied an application. Good luck and let us know how you get on. Cheers.
