VISITOR VISA + FAMILY SPONSORSHIP

Good day,

I need help writing a VISITOR VISA for my HUSBAND in the Philippines. I was advised by an immigration agent (from the cic contact) that I can send the SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP and the VISITOR VISA at the same time.
I was hoping someone had an experience with this and was successful. Hoping to get a template or sample letter. And if we are to book him return tickets or just one way air fare?

- The PR application and visitor visa must be submitted separately. They are two separate applications that are processed by different visa offices. They can be submitted at the same time, just not as one package.
- The chances of the TRV being refused are unfortunately quite high since IRCC will know he is married to a Canadian and probably has plans to remain in Canada long term. To have the highest chance of approval, he should request a short trip (2-3 weeks) and provide very strong evidence of ties to his home country. I would recommend that you spend time reading through the discussions in the Visitors section of the forum to learn about common refusal reasons and how to put together a strong TRV application.
- Yes, if the TRV is approved he will need a return ticket. A TRV only allows him to visit Canada, not move here.

My Name is Shaiwal Negi i have applied for a visitor visa for Canada. But it is only showing status
Visa application, tracking ID No.20180829INCDTRV67846 is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, NEW DELHI.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website.
Its almost 44 calender days are over now but i did'nt recieved my passport.

Thanks for the prompt response. I read one experience somewhere online that they applied for the TRV for the purpose of the spouse to wait for the family sponsorship in CA instead of abroad. They got approved and as the spouse landed, they showed the copy of the family sponsorship application status, etc.
I was hoping to get a sample letter for situations like that.
