Visitor Visa Family- Biometrics only for 1 member

Hi,
My situation is same. Could you please help me:
My father and mother applied for Visitor visa together with same GC key and paid the Family Biometric Fee of 170CAD. Biometric Instruction letter received only for my father with in 24Hrs, but my mother didn't get yet.
What should I do now?

@visitorvisa1958 I am in the same situation. My wife's father has received the letter and mother and brother is yet to receive. Did you receive separate letters at a later point of time?

I am having same situation. Yesterday i applied for visitor visa online for self and mother. I paid all the fees cad 370. Today i recieved biometrics collection letter for my application. But they did not send biometrics collection letter in my mother's application. Anyone already gone through this please guide me. I am primary applicant and I have submitted application from my cic account.

For everyone asking the same question on this thread, consider these three cases:
1. First and foremost, even though all applicants applied together, each person's application is considered separately and it is very normal for two individuals to be at different processing states. Someone's biometrics might be called earlier, someone's passport might be stamped earlier and so on. This is despite vac assurances that all passports will travel together. Wait for a full week or so before getting concerned.
2. Many applicants may be exempt from providing biometrics. Typically less than 5 years and more than 85 years. But there are other conditions as well, please check cic website.
3. Finally, a person's biometrics is valid for 10 years. So in the past if biometrics was provided, irrespective of whether that application was refused/accepted, your biometrics are still valid.

Just got biometrics request today for my mother's application. Next day after my father's application got biometrics request. So if somebody is in same situation i will suggest to wait.

Hey, am filling out visitor visa application for my parents, however they are asking for only 85cad for biometrics which means for 1 person only. How did you guys get to select 170cad for 2? Please help

Did each applicant apply separately? Different GCKey accounts?

Are all applicants part of the same immediate family (like parents and dependent children)?

And ages are between 14-79 years?

Sorry to intervene, just a question that if someone is more than 79 of his age so will he be exempted from Biometrics. I applied last week for the TRV of my parents, my mother is 70 and my father is 80. I only got 1 Biometric letter of my mother and still waiting a letter of my father. Kindly advise
