Visitor visa extension

Please help with following questions:

-Is taking medical insurance (for parents) a requirement when you are extending your visitor visa (not super visa)?
-Can visitor visa be converted to super visa while staying in Canada on visitor status? What's the process?

Hi! I am on a visit visa in Canada and staying with my Uncle (he was my sponsor). I am single and no kids and not married. What is the best reason we can present when applying for an extension. Thank u very much.
