Visitor Visa Extension

Hello friends, my mom have a visitor visa for 10 years. First time she came to Canada was 2023 and she stayed for one year, we had to do an extension application in order for her to stay here more than 6 months where IRCC didnt ask for any MEDICAL. And then she came back to Canada on March after staying back home for 2 months, this time she also had to stay more than 6 months and we did visitor visa extension application approval but this time IRCC asked to do a medical test. Just to give an important information, she applied for super visa in 2021 where she did her medical report and submitted her file.

I have two question
1. How long the medical test stays valid for?
2. We just got the mail on October 24, 2024 for her to do a medical test but she is leaving Canada on November 19, 2024. Does she still need to do the medical test or its just optional because she is not working here?

No, we withdrew the application when we applied for visitor visa

Medicals are valid for a year. Yes she must do the medical because she did remain in Canada during extension period. If she doesn’t do the medical she will have challenges getting a visa in the future.

Thank you so much. Even tho she is leaving in 10 days, will she still need to do the medical?
What if she go to backhome and get the medical done over there, will that be a problem?
Because medical here is just a little more expensive than doing it backhome
