Hey guys

My hubby who is here with me (from kiwi land) has been here since December 2009 on a visitor visa, we keep extending it every 6 months, and have never had an issue. We're about 2 weeks out from having our inland application reviewed! (They're on October 16th, we submitted November 4th)

This time however, we haven't seen his extension in the mail yet, and his visa expires in less than 36 hours. Does this mean he has to leave? If we don't hear either way? Normally VISA's come a week or two prior to expiry but this time it hasnt ...

No, he has implied status until he receives either approval or refusal from Vegreville for the extension.

Ok thank you!!!

Hi Benders,

How your hubby extension his Visa in Canada? fill up the application form? or just across the border between US and Canada, and then come back to Canada, renew another 6 months? (My hubby is from kiwi land as well ;) )

You could also submit the application online anytime before it expires.

PMM are you saying that a spouse will be given an TRV extension until such time as the application is approved or denied?
