Hello Dear experts!

I have a question about visitor visa extension. My friend''s visa is about to expire in November 2nd.. she didn't extended yet she thought because she is from a visa exempt country she is going to be just fine. She has eTA.
My question is should be prepare a letter of explanation.
Or she should be fine.
She doesn't have any family members here in Canada.

There is no such thing as a "visitor visa"... most likely you are referring to a TRV (Temporary Resident Visa).

As your friend is from a visa-exempt country she is not eligible to have any kind of visa. "Visas" cannot be extended.

Your friend wants to extend the "visitor status" that she got when entering Canada. She will have to apply for "extend my stay as a visitor" regardless on whether she is from a visa-exempt country or not if her authorized stay is close to over.

Thanks for that. I meant at the border she received a stamp in her passport which is about to expire..
Should we prepare a letter of explanation or just keep it simple.
is it OK to tell the truth she wants to stay more to explore her relationship?
Or found another reason

That stamp gives a "visitor status". She needs to extend that visitor status with "extend your stay as a visitor".

Yes, a letter of explanation is required on submission.

You have to give the actual reason for her stay. Anything else would be a trying to give a false impression to CIC.
