They can't stay more than 6 months on TRV, they should leave before it expires !! if they get extension before August well and good.

Hi if they have applied before the expiry of the visa they can stay till the time decision is made even if it crosses 6 month of stay. This is called implied status, this remains inforce till the decision is made on extension. Thanks

Hi! I need to extend my mother's visa as a visitor; it will get expired by Oct 6th 2018. I tried to apply online through my cic account for her but the questions are quite challenging. Should I answer questions for her application or for me? I cant create a separate account for her as she has no bank account. Has anyone faced this issue? Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

Hi All,

My mother is in Canada on visitor visa and i'm applying for her extension of stay. Just wanted to confirm if I need to send ORIGINAL Passport and photos or not? As per document checklist IMM5558 there is no mention of original passport and photos.

Please guide.
