My mother is in Canada on visitor visa and her visitor visa getting expired on March 31, 2021. I have applied for visitor record extension and that is progress.
while visitor record extension is in progress, can I apply for visitor visa extension now?

You need to apply for a new TRV you can’t extend the one ending in March.

My parents arrived on visitor visa in Jan 2020, i applied for an extension in june and have not yet heard back. Can i apply for another extension? Can i now apply for supervisa while they are here?

You can't apply for another extension. You have to wait for the results of the first extension.

They can't apply for a supervisa from Canada

Are you wanting to apply for an extension of her stay in Canada? If so, you can apply right before the 6 months is ending. If you are applying for a new TRV would apply a few months ahead of time due to wait times.

Hi! My mom arrived on Dec 2019. She got her extension last June 2020 until December 2020. Now, do they allow another extension if we will apply for her to stay longer because of the pandemic and her being high risk to travel? Do they allow second extension of visitor visa?

Hi All,

My parents have visitor visa and are currently staying with us in Canada. Their 6-month stay is completing on 7-June. We are trying to apply for an extension on the grounds of Naming ceremony and summer stay with family.

Could you please help us with below.

1. In application we have a question : "How long are you planning to stay in Canada?" - Should we answer this considering the start date as June 7 or from the day they landed here?
2. Do we require medical exam of Visa extension?
3. Marriage certificate - In India marriage registration was not mandatory till 2006 and hence parents do not have any Marriage certificate. Will Passport copy mentioning the spouse name work? If not, Pls suggest what could be done.
