Visitor visa extension status expires today!!!! Urgent

My parents visitor visa extension status expires today. Can I apply for extension again or I have to apply for restoration of status.


Can someone please respond as it is really urgent.

in IMM5708 Current country of residence does not allow me to enter today's date and they can stay only until today.

You will not have sufficient time to submit the application in order to gain "implied status". Restoration or leave Canada.

You posted back in January 2019 you were applying to extend her visa then , what transpired?

My parents got the extension until Apr 20, 2019. We applied again as their medicals got scheduled on June 20, 2019.
one of the CIC representative told us extension can be applied the last day before the visa expires ? is that valid

You can't apply for Restoration right now because their status is still valid today.

I would just pick tomorrow as the expiry date and include a letter of explanation that the system wouldn't let you enter today's date.

And then prepare to apply for restoration in case they don't allow that. I get that someone told you you can apply on the last day, but waiting until literally the last minute isn't a good idea given timezones and how computers interpret time.
