Hello Everyone,
I am new to this forum and have a million questions, but I will just start with the most pressing one right now. And hopefully one day I will be able to answer questions for people too, once I know some of the answers!
My husband and I are almost ready to send in our inland application for PR but some of our documents still have not arrived in the post. My visitor visa will expire in a little over a month. We really thought all the paperwork would have arrived by now, I know we cant send the application without all the documents (Canada post is investigating it). We are wanting to extend my visitor visa again so that we can send in our PR application as soon as the rest of our papers arrive. I have been here for almost 12 months (IE two 6 month visitor visa's).
I am guessing that on the reason that I want to extend my visitor visa is just what I have said, that we are married and intend to apply for PR as soon as the rest of our documents arrive. How likely is this to be approved? As of course we really aren't ready to send our PR application yet until all the documents arrive. What proofs do I need to send with this, my husband's T4 or his bank statements or my own or both? Our marriage license? Are there any other documents that they would want? Has anyone done this with the online application?
I would really appreciate any advice on this. Thanking you all in advance!
