I would like to stay in Canada for one more month but my visitor visa is expiring less than 30 days.

"Guide 5551 - Applying to Change Conditions or Extend Your Stay in Canada"

After reading this page it says to apply with more than 30 days before it expiring. I applied for extension but 10 days before visa expires. Does is mean my application and implied status is not valid ?
Can someone help me?

Thank you
Alex

The 30 days as I understand it is really a guidance only not a fixed time period but is really advisable given the processing time required to get a decision and guess just an attempt to minimise number of people in implied status after their authorised stay.

See here in this link that once an application has been submitted as long as within the current authorised stay then the applicant is in implied status until a decision is made.

As long as IRCC receives your application before your visa expires, you have implied status.
