Visitor visa document number and expiry date on tracker

Hi All
My parents submitted their application in Ghana and they are still waiting on PPR. Here is their timeline

Application Submitted: Aug 18 2022
BVL: April 28 2023
Tracker Updated with Visa details: May 1st 2023
PPR: Waiting

Is anyone else from Ghana still waiting for an update? How long will PPR take to be issued?

is it common to have BVL updated. i see BVL updated today. no PPR or Visa # on tracker. Eligibllity completed on 8th.

Hello

On the new IRCC tracker website I can see that in the documents section of my visa application there is a visa document number and expiry date (expiration date of my passport)
This was not there before. Has anybody else seen this? What does this mean?

I applied for my visa in August 2021. It’s been 20 months. I received the biometrics validity letter on the 29th of March

same here guys..
In the IRCC tracker website on the documents section of my visa application visa document number is issued after 8 months of biometrics and i have received the correspondence letter of biometrics expiry confirmation. Does anybody else Face the same issue and got the visa recently??

As I know the expiry of visa following the expiry date of your passport..
If they are still processing your visa, please inform them about your new passport

Somehow if your visa expiry exceeding your passport expiration.. its still good- attached your old passport with new passport

I have no idea. I have another major issue, my passport has changed since I applied for the visa and they have information of my previous passport. So IF they have issued me a visa, they have issues to my previous passport that’s not in use anymore.

Don’t worry so many people are in this situation now. We just have to wait for whenever we are called for ppr
