I have submitted my application. There is a total of 5 family members in the application. 4 of them are eligible for biometrics, but only 2 of them have recieved their letters. I am afraid I might have put the wrong answer to the "Biometrics taken in last 10 years" questionnaire. Since I have submitted the application what could be the resolution.

What did you answer incorrectly. Are all 5 family members, members of the same family (spouses and children under 22)? Sometime takes a few days or weeks for all to be requested.

Husband and spouse got their biometrics, children are under 22 (19 yo, 16 yo and 7 yo) but they are required to give biometrics if they are older than 14. Anyways, there is a question for each person in the questionnaire which is about biometrics taken in last 10 years, the system was problematic and I am not sure if I made a mistake specifically to that question. Since I have already submitted it, I don't have access to my answers.

So did you say NO to biometrics or YES. If children have never had biometrics, then you would have answered NO. If you think you made a mistake, you can raise a webform. Also wait a few days as this is common for dependants not to receive BVL with main applicant.

Thank you for your reply. Exactly, I already raised a webform and I will be waiting for a few days for the dependants. Thank you for your reply. I wanted to ask what if I made a mistake, will embassy or IRCC help me to resolve it. Did anyone faced a similar issue.

People are posting on the forum about letters not coming at the same time as main applicants. Wait a few days and see if letters come through.

I have filed for visitor visa application in a single group, my wife has got her UCI and biometric letter request, while I don't have a UCI number yet, it's been more than 3 days that I submitted my request. Can any of you share your timeline of receving UCI upon application submission or if you did anything to expedite it. Please advise.

Hey I Had a similar problem, yet I’m over 22 years old. If you hocam help me, I would be grateful. My question is as follows:
We applied for Canada tourist visa as a family application which includes my mother, brother and myself by having an account with GC key for my mother as the main applicant and we paid 470 cad for it. My brother and I are 28 years old, but we are living with my mother. Although my mother and brother received messages requesting biometrics, I haven’t had any request within this context and on the respective application page, it says “We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes” which I do not have any reason to exempt from it considering I have never applied for Canada visa before. Though we applied for American tourist visa as a family application and it is approved successfully for all of us, I do not know why I encountered such a problem regarding Canada tourist visa application. I can apply for it one more time, but it may also cause another problems considering I will be having two current application for the same visa. I do not know what to do to solve it. If you enlighten me regarding what to do to solve the problem so that I can deliver biometrics as soon as possible, I would be more than grateful.

Thanks in advance.

You should be applying separate from your mother and brother. You are the main applicant as you are over 22, not your mother. Once you apply separately, you will get biometrics letter. Your brother’s visa may be refused too because he is not a dependant either. Living with your mother is not relevant.

First of all, thank you so much for your reply. As I already applied as part of family application, how should I turn my application into a separete application? If I reappyl, would it cause a problem considering I will be having two different application? And what should I say to the question that “ did you apply for Canada visa before” ?
As for my twin brother, he has a physical disability and based on Canada.ca, a son that has disability and is dependent on parent because of that is considered dependent child and We also uploaded his disability report to the system as well. So, I do not think it will be a problem for him.
