  • • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.

  • You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.
This is 2nd time the visa got rejected. My uncle is a retired govt. officer in India. His two sons are well established and his wife also working. This will be his 1st journey to a foreign country. I am not sure what info I need to provide the Immigration department to satisfy their query. One son is HIgh Ranking officer in Army where as 2nd one is a Senior Bank Manager. I have provided the Pay info for them as well as his Pension. But he gets small amount of Pension.

Could you please let me know what info I need to provide to get the visa for him. I am PR a holder of Canada and provided my financial status as well.

How long a visit did your uncle request? What exact evidence did he include in the application to demonstrate his ties to his home country? How much did he show in funds to support his trip?

It is for about 2 months only. I have provided his fixed deposits, Marriage certificate and his both sons Pay slip. I have also provided my Pay slip.
For the visit reason I have provided my son's birth certificate as his birthday is on July 14th. He shows about 20,000 CAD to support his trips.

Two months is too long a visit to request for someone who hasn't traveled previously. He should have requested 2-3 weeks. Does he own any property? If so, did he show proof of that?
