My parents along with my niece denied visitor visa in canada. They wanted to go to canada to see my sister who is studying there. The reason why they refused the visa stated below :

1. Travel History (This year my parents visited singapore for medical purposes, before my father visited india and china for business purpose)

2. Family ties in canada and in country of residence.

My father is an import based businessman in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has shown his business trade license , tin certificate, etin certificate, couple of LC copies (recent ones), bank statements to the VO. Also he has some properties here and he valuated all of his properties and submit the report as well.

As my niece is a minor and she is going along with here grandparents to see his mother, my sister gave my father a letter of authorization for her. Also for more proof my father submitted her school id, birth certificate , monthly payment slip of school fee as well.

Now what other documents can my father submit in order to prove that he is not going to stay in Canada?

Please help me.

Thanks and Best Regards

You can reapply by giving answers to the current refusal. See my comments inline.

1. Travel History (This year my parents visited singapore for medical purposes, before my father visited india and china for business purpose)
As they have already travelled other countries. List out the dates and prove that they never over stayed in any visit.

2. Family ties in canada and in country of residence.
This point is little tricky, as their daughter is there in Canada, they may not return back to home country.
To prove this :
1. Confirmed Return Tickets.
2. Proof of Funds and Family ties, say if any dependent children or other family members giving affidavit.
3. If working - NOC letter from the employer
4. If Retired - Pension Proof
5. If Owns business : Documents and financial statements of the business

I feel the first point was applicable for your niece. You have to justify all the aspects with respect to her as well.

You could mention : She is xx years old and currently studying in this school, she has to report back to school and her semester/yearly examinations.
Her parents affidavit and proof of their income, bank statements and Asset Evaluation etc.,

Prepare and make sure you cover all the aspects and submit again.

All the Best..!!!

Thanks a lot for your reply.

1. The application they wrote to the VO , they have to mention in which date they visited china and singapore and which date they returned right ?

2. As i said, My father already submitted all of his business license , tax forms, bank statements, lc copy( as it is import based business he submitted couple of Letter of credit copy as well. Also he has some properties in his home country. So he valuated those properties and submitted the report as well. As for other children, me along with my two sisters live in Dhaka. He already mentioned it in his application and also fill up all of his children's details on the family information form as well. I don't know is there any other documents to left in order to prove my father's ties at home !!

He didn't confirmed tickets though as normally tickets are bought after getting the visa .. Also I am bit confused about the affidavit part. Can you please elaborate it ?

Yes rephrase all the Support Document.

you can find Visa Support letters in the forum and in cic site as well.
Let it talk about your parents personal and financial conditions as well as Travel history and dates.

Also, mention the reason behind your niece's travel. As you are applying 3 applications in one bundle, the VO may think your niece's case as suspicious.
Give valid reasons and get the Support Letter from her parents.

You can notarize the declaration infront of Notary Public. It's like promising and you aren't lying anything to CIC.

If I was you I would take each of the point of the refusal and give more elaborated justification and reapply again.

It all depends on their age as well. Also mention, we will buy our own Medical Insurance. Did your sister send the Invitation letter ? what she has mentioned in it ?

Actually people go for Ticket Booking based on Visa, where as I would say Confirmed ticket means, they don't need any funds to return back. So chances of staying back are little less.

You could also mention some oocassion or something, which they need to attend on their return and limit the visit to few weeks.
