Hi,

I want to apply visitor visa for my brother to come to canada. He is single, in his 30's average bank balance and no travel history. From what I found from other threads, Its impossible to get the visa approved for siblings. But I am curious if anyone was able to succeed and what documents they submitted to prove that their sibling is a genuine visitor.

Thanks,

How much liquid savings fuels your brother have approximately? Savings in general? Does he own property? Have a formal lease? When does it expire? Is he employed? For how long has been employed in his current job and is it a well paying job?

It isn’t impossible for siblings to get approved especially when they are young and single but it is more difficult because they usually lack the strong ties and savings because they are young which makes approval more difficult.

Hi Canuck, Thanks for the quick reply.

He have around $10000-$15000 in liquid savings, He owns a house, He is employed and has a good job that pays well.

you are right about strong ties but I think, my brother neither has strong ties or weak ties. That's the reason I wanted to know what other applicants did to prove that their intention is genuine.
