Hello Please i need help, I'm a dancer and I was recommended by a French choreographer that I've worked with for 18 months here in Ghana to visit Canada to participate in a professional ballet training. I got a full scholarship that covers my flight tickets, accommodation, feeding and training fees from the dance school in Canada because of how talented I am but I waa denied visa, the visa officer said the reasons for my denial is
1. Purpose of visit
2. Financial statement
3. Travel history.

So the school in Canada is drafting new letters for me to re-apply, so my question is can I re-apply after one month of denial ? And what are the important documents I need to submit during my application as a dancer who's visiting Canada to train professionally and perform in their shows after my training and return back to Ghana after my training. Any help ?

Yes - you can reapply after one month. Even though you are fully funded, you should show that you have your own funds by providing a bank statement. You must also demonstrate ties to your home country and provide evidence of these ties. Ties are things like proof of employment, proof of property ownership/rental, proof of other assets owned. If you are currently working, you should obtain a letter from your employer.

There's really nothing you can do about the travel history refusal reason. IRCC prefers candidates who have previously traveled to countries requiring visas such as the US and UK. I assume you have no such travel.

I assume you included proof in your original application that the school is funding all of your expenses.

Okay thank you very much, I've been working as a dance teacher for a dance school here in Ghana so if I get an employment letter from my boss is that okay to show that I have ties with Ghana ? Though I'm not a Ghanaian and the dance school in Canada is trying to back up their invitation with a lawyer's letter from Canada and a guarantor's will that be enough to prove that I will leave Canada after the training?
I haven't travelled to countries requiring visa during my first application I presented letters( though the letters weren't official drafted in an invitation letter form),flight tickets and acceptance letter stating the school is funding all my expenses.

1. For how long will you be visiting to be trained?

2. As you are already employed as a dance teacher, does the new training in Canada add to your expertise/skills? If yes, are you able to prove this?

3. Is this visit purely for training or will you also be participating in dance shows?

Not really because the financial gains in Canada far outweigh the general earnings in Ghana.

1. How long have you been employed at the current dance school?
2. Do you own property/land or have a lease in your name? Do you live with dependent family members? Do you have a good personal financial situation?

Though I'm not a Ghanaian
1. What's your immigration status in Ghana? Did you include evidence for your status when you applied?
2. Are you from a high-risk country or a politically unstable country?

Neither of these documents will work because they cannot be enforced to ensure that you leave Canada

EDIT:
Just re-read your first post. You will also be participating in dance shows in Canada. This implies your Canadian host is paying for your entire visit as compensation for participating in dance shows + you are not visiting for training per se.

You'll need to apply for a Work Permit. IMO, your new TRV application is likely to be refused

1. For how long will you be visiting to be trained?

For 3 months after that I will leave Canada for another dance training at Senegal.

2. As you are already employed as a dance teacher, does the new training in Canada add to your expertise/skills? If yes, are you able to prove this?

Yes the dance training In Canada will add a lot to my career as a dancer.

3. Is this visit purely for training or will you also be participating in dance shows?

After every training we normally set up a stage production for people to watch and see the growth of our training

1. How long have you been employed at the current dance school?

For 3 to 4 years now.

2. Do you own property/land or have a lease in your name? Do you live with dependent family members? Do you have a good personal financial situation?

I live with my boss and her family

1. What's your immigration status in Ghana? Did you include evidence for your status when you applied?

Yes I did, I sent my passport to the Embassy to verify

2. Are you from a high-risk country or a politically unstable country?

I'm from Nigeria but I schooled in Ghana and I'm residing and dancing here.

Neither of these documents will work because they cannot be enforced to ensure that you leave Canada
Even with the guarantor letter stating that I will leave and even when my flights tickets has been paid by the school to ensure that I live after the training?
