Applied on 26-May. Biometric request for my mother came on 2nd June & Biometric submitted on 18th June. For my father Biometrics are still valid for few years from last visa.

Few points because of which I was a bit worried about visa application for my parents (posting here in case someone searches for this info in future):
1. Marriage certificate was not available for them, so I had mentioned in covering letter that their names are mentioned in each other’s passport as spouse.
2. I had also submitted my birth certificate to prove my relation with them. However, my mother’s name was spelt slightly different in my birth certificate. I had mentioned in covering letter that are both one & same name and is just spelt differently.
3. One of the bank statements for my father (with highest fund) was 2 months old at the time of application submission.
4. My mother’s bank statement was directly downloaded online & was not printed & stamped. It was same case for my Canadian bank statement.
Although, they both had Canadian visas in the past which they had used & had travelled to Canada for 2-4 months. We had also included valuation of property documents as well as funds were reasonable in their bank accounts - ~20k for my father & ~18k for my mother, for 4 weeks visa request. I had also attached my Canadian bank statement.

Congratulations, mine dates a re similar with you but my status is stuck in background check since 30th may.
Same here. My eligibility has to started. Applied on the 27th of May. Biometrics updated June the 2nd. Background in progress. Nothing afterwards.
But it still shows background check in progress for me, there is no completed date mention there. I applied for my mom, she is residing in Dubai. We applied 18june and biometric completed 23 June.
After that biometric in progress and 28 June there was a change that we are reviewing your eligibility. So was just wondering, what does it mean now.
