My sister applied for visitor visa on 16th May 2022. She did one mistake in the application form. By mistake she has provided my UCI number in the application. She received letter for Biometric. She got new UCI# assigned. She is applying first time so she never had UCI#. As she has provided incorrect UCI# in the application , will this cause any issue? Please let me know if there is any way to update the application.

Of course, it will cause a major issue, Please contact IRCC through the web form, If possible, withdraw this application and apply for the new one, I think that should be done. UCI # belongs to an individual and stays with that individual forever in the record.
Thank you for your reply. Raised the web form and mentioned the issue. Do you think it’s better to withdraw the applications and resubmit new one ? My sister already received letter for biometric so if we withdraw the application will it delay the process. Also if we withdraw the application now then application fee will be returned or not ?
When you application will be open for processing , definitely UCI # record will not be same which she mentioned in Form.
So just raise an webform (which i can see you already did)
No need to reapply , Just raising webform should be ok , Max IRCC can ask further explanation, That's it
