Visitor visa application from India while on work permit in UAE

Hi friends,

I am writing this for your inputs for visitor visa application.
I am Indian citizen with Indian passport.
For more than a year I am in UAE on work permit with my family.

recently I have applied for Canada visitor visa for me and my family on December 2022.
Visa application processing time for visitor visa to Canada from UAE is more than 300 days.

my question is can I apply to from india for Canada visitor visa even my application from UAE is still not processed yet. In India processing time is much faster than UAE

Are you living in India? Processing is from the country you are living in not citizenship.
