please, for those has written email to the IRCC to get the written authorization letter and they got positive response .
how it was the form of the email ,it was question, response to give them the information or it was as full text hold all the information they asked for.

in my case my husband is working in Canada. i got a open work visa but it expired. i applied for new visitor visa. i didn't get response yet ,i found that i can send them email to speed my process and get the response. in another hand my children have visitor visa .they need only the authorization letter.

my second question ,can i send one email talk about my visa process and ask for the authorization letter for my kids or i should send the separate email?

1. There is no expedited process. If your husband was PR or citizen then maybe. When did you apply and where are your from? Processing can take months. Did your Spouse complete the letter for you at the same time as applying for the visa?
2. Your kids need authorization letters. Has your spouse applied for their travel authorization?

1-there is no expedited process.
in this link they talk about the people who already applied for visa that can prioritize their application, this is what i understood.
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/coronavirus-covid19/visitors/visa.html#existing
my husband is not PR or citizen. I applied in 29 August and i am from Algeria.my husband didn't write any letter for me,should he? i applied for the visa.
2-No,He didn't applied for their travel authorization.
Processing for Algeria is 7 months. The link states if you have authorization to travel, you don’’t. you all need authorization letters. So even if you get an approved visa, you still need the authorization letters.

Is there a reason you didn't apply for an OWP? TRV is not the appropriate option unless you are only coming to visit your husband and plan to return to Algeria. How long does he have left on his WP?

You should have applied for OWP because processing is 2.5 months vs. 8 months for visitor visa. How long where you planning on staying.

A TRV is more likely to be denied because OP is not a temporary visitor which is why OP should apply for TRV.

we plan to stay for 6 month or 7 months.
If you are not planning on permanently relocating your chances of approval are likely lower because it will increase the possibility of describing your visit as discretionary. You will also need to explain why after 2 years your travels to Canada are essential.

usually, he came to visit us and we were planning to visit him, I got my open work permit(it took almost 7 months) when he was a student but with COVID19, my visa expired and he gets a new worker visa. I applied for a visitor visa because at that time it took short time.
- can I apply for an authorization letter and my visa in progress (in this forum I find that in some cases the authorization letter took a long time)
or I need to apply for an open work visa and when to get a visa I apply for authorization.
I am so sorry for all this question because I am confusing what I should do?
thank you very much to all members for their reply.
