Visitor visa after the restriction

Hi Guys,
I have applied for a visitor visa more than 2 months ago (June 24) and still waiting for the outcome. Biometric done after a week and the profile got updated. Just wondering if after September 7 the process of reviewing the applications will get faster?

Probably not. Just because borders are open doesn't mean processing times will increase. There is a backlog.

Yes I do, from my parents in law. I applied for TRV as a spouse. Honestly, I can't believe that I am waiting so long. And just recently my lawyer told me that there might be more delays because if Afghan refugees.

TRV for spouses being sponsored are not guaranteed. At least your didn’t get a quick refusal.

Hi I saw the new release on the Immigration website that it is recommended to apply again. Why should we pay another fee? We have been waiting since April!
