hi friends
here is my history.
i got married to canadian citizen divorced girl in august 2012. now we were ready to apply for my immigration to canada. but we came to know a new rule introduced and forced in the march 2012. that after second marrige, she have to wait for 5 years(5 years after getting pr) to sponser me ( i am in india).plz go to the march 2012 news relaese at cic website for more detail.
she entered as student in 2005 and got married to canadian pr or citizen(not sure) guy and got pr in 2008 feb and citizen in oct 2012 after our marrige.

she has good job making around 50k canadian per year, and own house in 50/ 50 partnership with her brother.
now before the start of march 2013, we can not apply for immigration.

my concern is
can i get visitor visa approved for canada? because its very hard to live separate after marriage.
i am bca/pgdca. no job. travelled uk and australia as student, schenegen and thailand as visitor
how important is my bank statement if my wife takes responsibility of my expenses while in canada?
thanks in advance

well your profile sounds pretty good........i dont think its gonna b any difficult for u to apply as a visitor. And i think around christmas and new year is the bet time to apply for. Your wife can show her bank balance but i think it would be better if you show some funds in your account too.

well brother first of all i must tell you that there is no hard and fast rule about visitor visa.... they only see things to coclude that whether yoy have enough ties to your home country that you will get back after the end of your stay. Mostly they see 3 things-
1. your purpose of visit
2. your financial condition
3. your home ties, i.e your family
now you have a valid reason that your wife is there
second you just need enough property that can show that you are financially sound in india
third if your parents are living with you and you can show that they depend on you for a living, then i dont think theres gonna be any reason for rejection. i would recommend putting a lac or two more in your account. 4 lac would be good and also show your wife's bank statement coz that will also be ccounted as yours. Rest i think just be ready for christmas.
best of luck !!!!!!!

thanks for your suggestion sir

but the problem is whole property like farming land home and plots are at my parents name,(i have only around 1 acre at my name) my dad is retired from electricity board and on pention now. and the point is immigration will have the idea that i will apply to move permanently after some time when we will be eligible according to the rules.and how important is to show ties in home country, afterall they must know that i am moving to canada soon. only thing is i need visitor because i want to be with my wife.and if i put more money now and apply in december, then will they accept the money which is not old enough in my account, like all travel agents in jalandhar says that you need old funds(minimum 3 to 6 months)
little confused with these things.
thanks alot for your support which is really valuable for me to start my new life.

well i can understand your point but one thing is sure that you need to take risk after all you cant wait for 5 years. And christmas and new year are the best times to apply for. And if you get rejected that wont affect your overall status. Visitor visa refusal dosnt means anything if they cant point out certain objections which i dont see in your case. So i wd say just go on and dont trust these agents. Its your luck not theirs.

Dear Experts,

I have very important query which is as follow:

I came to Canada in February 2012 on Visit Visa for 6 months. During the visit I got Married with Canadian Citizen Girl, then I continued to staying there by extending my visit visa for another 6 months to apply for RP on behalf of my spouse.

But after 3 months of marriage we got separation from each other and my ex spouse withdrawn my Permanent Residence application.

Now I want to extend my stay for another 6 months in Canada (2nd time inside the Canada), Can you please let me know the procedure and chances of 2nd extension of visit visa..

Would be appreciated for your valuable query..

This query is behalf of my cousin.

well this is very complicated....i dont think that they will extend your cousin's stay anymore because the basis of his application has already vanished. Now the only thing he shd do is to either take admission in any college and convert his visa to student visa or find an employer who can file for his LMO to get him a work permit. But i would recommend you must visit a professional solicitor as he ll better tell you the options.
