Visitor Visa - A mistake in the application

Hello,

Im a permanent resident of Canada. My brother and his family are applying for their visitor visa from Qatar. I have sent them the invitation letter for their visit.

In the application, they have asked for a UCI number. By mistake, my brother provided my UCI# in the column.

Is there any way he can edit the application now that it is submitted? Can this be a reason for refusal?
