Hello,
I'm going to be looking through the cic website but I thought I'd post here as well because you guys have always been such a great wealth of knowledge on any subject I've had questions about.
My girlfriend has been staying with me since April of this year, that is when herself and I landed in Canada from the States. We sent away a Visitor Visa Extension Form at the end of July and just heard back today. Her application was refused because "proof of entry into Canada was not provided." Now her and I are a little confused about his. She filled out the form perfectly (I read it over ot make sure before we sent it) The letter goes on to talk about how she needs a passport to get into Canada but she has one (or else she wouldn't have even got into Canada). Now clearly I don't want her to have to leave and she doesn't want to leave so I was wondering what the best option to do this is? Can I refute the applications decision? If it's somehting as simple as "show us her passport" then I think it should be pretty simple to clear up.
Thanks
