Visitor Record Refund without requesting one

Hi Everyone,

I applied for a Visitor Record and submitted the application and paid the $100 application fee on the 1st March 2020.

Today when checking my bank account there was a deposit of $100 with the reference 'IMMIGRAT REV 03/01_V '.

My application profile still shows that they are processing the application.

Has anyone had anything similar happen with them?

Not sure if this means they have rejected the application, if they have id not have thought it would happen within a week of submitting when the processing times are 100+ days.

any thoughts?

You don't get a refund if your application is refused.

hmm even more strange then what this deposit is for. Ive filled in the webform as couldnt get through to them on the phone but i still have a few weeks until its 30 days before the current 6 months is up so still time to submit again if its been rejected.
