Visitor Record Extension - Need Help

I have few questions before I apply for extension of my visitor record. I came to Canada Initially asstudent and got 3 years pgwp workpermit, my work permit expired in June and my work permit got refused in September, I applied for restoration of status as visitor and got extension approved untill March, Now I a, planning to apply extension as I have my PR application in process under pnp express entry.

1) How much funds are required generally ? I am planning to show around $15k
2) Is it mandatory to mention that I amwiating for my PR application ?
3) Do I need support letter from my Family if I will be staying with them ?
4) Is it same application for extension that we generally use for restortaion of status or different form ?
5) Can we just apply few days before the expiry of status or it has to be a month early ?
6) If there are nay chances of rejection should I apply online or paper application ?

This is my experience and my opinion only)

1) How much funds are required generally ? I am planning to show around $15k

This is okay- in my opinion (Cut off for a single person is about 12,300 )

2) Is it mandatory to mention that I am waiting for my PR application ?

Yes - I did mention I have submitted my application for PR and I am awaiting a response. Be honest with them

3) Do I need support letter from my Family if I will be staying with them ?

Not sure about this. however in my experience I live alone in an apartment and did not need to show any proof

4) Is it same application for extension that we generally use for restortaion of status or different form ?

Not sure but the form I used is the same as the one I used when i initially applied for an extension i think it is form IMM5708E. (please confirm)

5) Can we just apply few days before the expiry of status or it has to be a month early ?

In my opinion I would request it a month or 2 months before expiry

6) If there are nay chances of rejection should I apply online or paper application ?

I have personally not had any Nay rejections - so long as you are honest with them and explain you are in the pool and already submitted your PR application there should be no problem. I did an online application (just so i do not freak out not knowing how my app is going lol)

Only applied one time extension. I think you can only stay up to a total of one year on a visitor record. 6months twice.
