Hi... Me and my husband are permanent residents here in Canada. I want my parents to come visit us from Amman,Jordan for an approximate period of 3 weeks this summer. I want them to apply for a multiple entry visa to avoid the paper work if they decide to visit later on. They will be staying with us in our rented apartment.
My question is can I as a stay at home mom write their invitation letter? It is much easier for us if I write it and notarize it. Would it be better if my husband wrote it because he has a job ?
Does it make a difference?
We have a joint account and both our names on the lease should I provide copies of these for instance?
I really appreciate your help thanks

It depends on the documentation you can provide and how you want to approach the case, why not write the letter of invitation as a couple? Too many ways to do it.

Why notarize it? What would be the purpose of this? (It "might help" is not a good reason).
