Hello, I’m currently in Canada on a pgwp and my common law partner is sponsoring me this month. My work permit will expire may 1st 2020 and I plan to apply to stay as a visitor during the processing of my PR application. Now my question is, If I were to leave Canada in June to return home in the USA for two days because my brother is getting married, what would I do as far as my visitor extension goes? I plan to return to Canada after the two days would my application for a visitors extension be cancelled ?
