Visitor extension timeline

Hi guys ! I was wondering, how many of you are still waiting for visitor extension ? I applied on Feb 24th... and just checked that the waiting time is 124 for online applications...
So I guess, I'll just sit tight and wait because it's all I can do for now

I submitted mine in 31 July 2015 and I'm still waiting,I got only one update until now

I submitted for my mother in law (online) on 14 March 2016, I received just confirmation letter that they got the documents

Is it that when request are sent via mail no cnfirmation that it was received is given? Any idea

I sent mine in on Dec 30, 2015 and haven't had any new updates. I actually received my PR this month and my visitor extension application is still open. ha!! I am going to look into cancelling it once I land.

Hi i apply my mom online extension for 5 months, but sadly i received an email from cic for her medical exam, she chose not to do it anymore, instead she wants to go back home as soon as possible so i can save money, but her visa is valid until 2019 soooooo sad

I had email that my application has been updated but when I entered my application, everything looked all the same. So I don't know now, is it updated or not. Confused :-\

Usually when you get the email update message you can log into your MyCic and there will be a message. I actually have gotten emails telling me that there are no updates. Lol
I guess they just want me to know it's being worked on but just no updates to report. Weird! Lol

Did you have tracking on it? Do you at least know it got there?
I can't believe they haven't sent you at least an email to let you know they are working on it. Did you list any email addresses on the application?
I know it is taking a very long time, but maybe you can call to make sure it is there and being worked on.

Well, I did submit mine in November 2015, and got no notification until February 29, 2016.
I would assume that you've to wait at-least more than two months.

Well, I did submit mine in November 2015, and got no notification until February 29, 2016.
I would assume that you've to wait at-least more than two months.

Wins26 I sent mine in Feb no email nor letter, I did track my mail as it was registered and someone signed for it in Alberta.
So Im also still waiting.
Tracy can I go on mycic and see if there's an update although my application was sent in the mail?

I am not 100% sure, but think that you probably can't. Sorry, I am not much help.
