Visitor Application | long processing time | From Bahrain

Hi,
My Wife is Egyptian and she leave in Bahrain, she submitted her application online in 9th September, with strong support document as a tourist.
she found that they request only to pay the application Fees which is 100 CAD and did not request from her to pay the biometric Fee-WHY??
there is no VAC in Bahrain so people always travel to Saudi to perform their finger print.
so far the application status is not moved , and not one request to do the finger print.
I know that the maximum processing time for Bahrain is 69, but all my friends that applied for the same visa this year got an answer in 1 week.

just need to know if my story is normal and when they are expecting to make any move

Hi,

I submitted my application online on 28th October and still the status has not changed. I received two e-mails stating that my application has been updated but i do not see any changes. In regards to the finger prints, i believe they will ask the fee later stage and will advise you on where to go.

As a Egypt passport holder, she must give her biometrics.

Did she mistakenly enter her nationality as Bahraini? Because Bahrain passport holders do not have to give biometrics.

If she correctly stated her Egyptian nationality then you can send a Case Specific Enquiry to the Abu Dhabi visa office.... to request the biometrics letter:

No, she cannot give her biometrics in Saudi Arabia.

She must give her biometrics at any of these VACs: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Kuwait or Doha
