You can either apply online (like as if you are the applicant who is applying from outside Canada). Or your mom can submit a paper application to VFS

I am confused between applying Super Visa and Visitor Visa. Since I dont have NOA as I am less than 1 year here, I am planning to apply for Visitor Visa. My father in law didn't file IT returns at all. Will that be a problem now? Is IT returns document mandatory?

Thanks
Madhu

IT returns helps to prove that the declared income is legit + that all finances add up to what is being declared.

2 years ITRs are listed as a requirement in the Visa Office instructions for India.

If your father-in-law's income is straightforward then the tax consultant can prepare/file his tax returns in even a couple of days

Ok. Thank you. I will ask him to file the IT returns. One more complication in his situation.

1. He had a passport before and was in Dubai for 30 years with that passport. Last year he applied for a new passport with a correction to his name. So, old and new passport has 2 different names. In travel history, should we mention about the old passport?

2. In application form, when there is a question "is he known by a different name". Should we mention about the name mentioned in the old passport. Actually it is not two different names. Just a spelling corrections. Please advice.

Thanks a lot
