Hi,
My candian VISA is expired but have valid work permit (PGWP) till the end of this year.
Can i re-enter canada after vising US (have valid US visiting VISA) ?

If so could anyone give me the link from CIC.

You can't reenter Canada without valid of TRV visa, hence you can re-apply again from based on PGWP.

1. Please at least give the correct information. The OP can re-enter Canada on the strength of his work permit without a new TRV. S/he can only visit the US and St. Pierre et Miquelon and must re-enter within the validity of the work permit. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=527&top=16

Expired temporary resident visa

You can request to return to Canada on your original temporary resident visa, even if it is expired, if:
you will only visit the U.S. or St. Pierre and Miquelon; and
you will return to Canada before the end of your approved stay in Canada.

An officer will confirm whether you meet all the requirements before allowing you to come back to Canada. If you visit any country other than those listed above, you will need a new temporary resident visa.

Hi,
Currently I am out of status in Canada. I have applied for restoration of application but havenot received decision yet. I want to visit U.S. As I have us visitor visa but my question is will there be any problem at U.S. Border as I donot have status in Canada. Plz I need help... Anybody in same situation but have visited U.S.??
