Visiting US on canadian implied status

Hi Guys,

I am in little confusion and need your suggestion:

We are canadian PR and my mother is visiting us on visitor visa. My mother has both US and Canadian visitor visa. She visited my brother in US prior this year and then she came to canada in mid may to visit us. As she can stay on visitor visa in canada for 6 months only her limit expired in Mid november and more than month before that I have applied for her visitor visa extension so currently she is in implied status but we haven't heard anything on her extension yet because i checked the waiting time to hear from CPC and it's around 120 days.

We are planning to visit(by driving) my brother in USA for two weeks during christmas: Now my questions are?

1. She will be leaving canada while she is still in implied status. I think that is allowed, right?
2. When we returns from USA in early january will she be able to enter canada? ( cause she has 10 years candian visitor visa and this entry will be considered fresh entry)
3. Also, will she have any issue entering USA? (cause she has stayed in USA just around 7 months ago)

Implied status terminates as soon as you cross the border out of Canada. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/visa/validity/implied.asp

Thank zardoz, yes I get it however do you(or any one in forum) have idea if we she will be able to enter canada after two weeks of vacation in USA?

just for note: she has multiple visitor visa for both US and Canada.

I would have thought that she would be allowed to enter unless the CBSA officer that deals with her reentry has suspicions that she is not complying with the spirit of the visitor visa and doesn't intend to return home, or can't support herself while in Canada. The pending extension may be irrelevant for a visitor, unlike for a study or work permit. You'll notice that the page that I linked to makes no reference to visitor extension applications.
