Hello everyone,
I’ve looked up many threads but couldn’t find any info relating my situation so I wanted to ask.
What are the chances for me to get a tourist visa to visit my Permanent Resident husband in Canada?

About me:
I work in Turkey (my home country), I have a steady job that pays well. I travel all around the world because of my job. I have traveled all Europe, Canada, USA, UK, etc... so I have a good travel history. I own a house in my home country. All my family lives in Turkey. I have enough money in my bank account to show. I had Canadian tourist visa before but its expired now. I have stayed in Canada before about 10 months (I went there to visit my husband and applied to extend my stay while I was in Canada it was approved and they sent me a visitor record) I left Canada around 5 months before my visitor record has expired.

Now my only intention is to visit my husband again. We will apply for spousal sponsorship later since he’s about to be a citizen in Canada, we thought it might be better to apply after he’s a Citizen. Until then I just want to visit him, I also have visited him before around five times but I got the visa when we weren’t married so it was easy to get the visa back then.

What do you think? Would I be able to satisfy the officer that I have strong ties to my home country so I won’t stay in Canada? Anyone else had similar situation? What else would you recommend me?
Thank you very much in advance!

Well, at this point the officer knows about your ties in Canada, however, you've established a good history, IMO. It may very well likely trend positively.

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that they have granted me a visa for 10 years.

If you have any questions I'd try my best to help you all, because I know now how stressful this is :)
