Visiting family who are refugee claimants

Canada just cancels it in system . It’s linked to the people’s names . Airline reservation data is sent to the government. So the rule is, just because one is granted a visa, doesn’t mean it can’t be cancelled
Canada will not take a chance that the family will not use that visa to come “visit “, then claim asylum .

It's not always the case. I'm not sure how you find out apart from trying to fly to Canada and see what happens.
