I entered Canada in 2007, applied for asylum which was denied. A few years later I filed for PR under HCC which is still pending medical for my son in the USA. Now, since the entire application was taking a long and I was not sure when to expect a decision. I left Canada in Oct 2015 after my wife had filed for a green card for me to come to the USA; So I moved.

I visited Canada July 2016 and I have no issues what so ever getting through custom. I visited again Jun 2017 but this time a bit harder. I was questioned extensively and I had to wait at least an hour before being admitted.
The agent explained that I had a removal order and at anytime I could be refused entry and the removal order enforced.

I have a lot of friends in Canada and the most decent people I know live there. I would love to be able to continue visiting Canada so how do I take care of this?

I do not want to live in Canada permanently. So I would like to abandon my application but with the deportation order hanging over my head, how do I retain the ability to visit Canada?
