Hi Everyone,
I have a question related to Canadian visit visa for myself and my sister.
My other sister and brother-in-law (also my first cousin) are Canadian Citizens. They are leaving for Hajj (Religious Pilgrim) this year and will be leaving kids back in Canada.
I and my sister (currently in Pakistan) are intending to visit them on a Canadian Visit Visa before they leave for Hajj and take care of the kids during their parents’ absence. My question to the forum is how to make my visa application strong:
• Whether an invitation letter from my sister and her husband would be suffice to satisfy the Visa officer where they would invite us for and would also take full responsibility of accommodation, food and health etc.
• Does mention of Hajj and the excuse of taking care of kids would make a strong point or not?.
• Any other suggestion on how to make the visa application a strong application.
Seniors, experienced people, please comment and share your knowledge or experiences.
Thanks

You are applying separately so showing your own funds, ties to return and travel history. Biggest issue is that you are coming to work in Canada to take care of the children. IRCC doesn’t like that. Invitation should state that you are funding your own expenses and coming for a family visit. If they say that they are paying for everytthing then that is a red flag that you cannot afford your own visit. Plus, you are being “paid” by having your expenses covered. Make sure each of your own funds shows cash to come to Canada.
